Natural Remedies for Fibroids: Why Elix Is Funding Independent Research

Natural fibroids support

If you have fibroids, you have probably felt what so many women feel: unheard. Maybe you were told to wait and see, or that surgery was the only real option down the road. Maybe you went looking for gentler, natural remedies for fibroids and found a lot of opinions, a lot of supplements, and very little actual research to tell you what genuinely helps.

That gap is real, and it is exactly why Elix is doing something about it.

Elix is sponsoring an independent clinical study on those with fibroids, run entirely by an outside research organization. It is the third study Elix has funded, following earlier studies on PMS & period pain and PCOS. If you are living with fibroids and open to a natural, herbal approach, you may be able to join and receive your herbs for free for the length of the study.

Why fibroid research matters

Fibroids are not rare, and they are not minor. Some alarming facts about fibroids:

  1. An estimated 26 million women in the U.S. between the ages of 15 and 50 are living with them, and up to 80% of women develop fibroids by age 50 (1,2).

  2. Fibroids are still the leading cause of hysterectomy in the United States, which means the most common answer women are offered is major surgery (3).

  3. In one study, 24% of employed women said fibroid symptoms held them back from advancing in their careers, and 66% worried about missing workdays (4).

  4. The U.S. economic burden of fibroids climbed from $34.4 billion in 2010 to $41.4 billion in 2022 (5).

  5. Women delay seeking fibroid treatment an average of 3.6 years, and 32% wait more than 5 years (4).

Why is fibroid research so far behind?

Women's health has been under-studied for generations. Conditions that affect millions of women, fibroids among them, receive a fraction of the research funding they deserve (6). That is why, when you search for how to shrink fibroids naturally or a natural treatment for fibroids, you find so much noise and so little evidence.

Elix believes women deserve better than guesswork. One of Elix's core values is simple: give women high-quality, organic, clinically-studied herbs and formulas with real research behind them, not marketing promises. Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has supported women's hormones for millennia, and Elix's role is to hold those botanical traditions to a modern, evidence-based standard.

Funding independent studies is how Elix lives that value. Not studies Elix runs or controls, but studies designed and carried out by a neutral third party, so the findings can be trusted.

Can herbs or supplements help with fibroids?

Right now, there is no clinically proven natural way to shrink fibroids. Not vitex, not a specific fibroids diet, not any single supplement for fibroids. The research simply has not been done at the scale it should be.

TCM and botanical approaches have long been used to support hormonal balance and ease the monthly experience for many women with fibroids. What is missing is rigorous, independent evidence about how these formulas perform for women who specifically have fibroids.

Closing that gap is the whole point of this study.

Inside Elix's independent fibroid study

The study follows two of Elix's formulas, taken together as a daily protocol:

  • Your Cycle Balance, a clinically-studied personalized herbal formula made with organic herbs and designed to support hormonal balance across your cycle.

  • Daily Harmony, formulated to calm stress and support your body's day-to-day functioning.

A few things make this study different:

  • It is fully independent. An outside research organization designs it, screens participants, and analyzes the results. Elix funds the study and provides the formulas, then stays out of the science.

  • It runs for six months, long enough to observe meaningful change, all tracked by the research team.

  • The protocol is free. Participants receive Cycle Balance and Daily Harmony at no cost for the full six months (a $516 value).

Am I eligible?

Spots are limited, and eligibility is decided by the independent research organization through a short screener, not by Elix. Here is what they are looking for:

  1. You have fibroids.

  2. You have not taken Cycle Balance or Daily Harmony before.

  3. You are willing to complete the screener and, if selected, follow the study.

  4. You are willing to take Cycle Balance and Daily Harmony consistently for six months (both provided free, a $516 value).

If that sounds like you, the next step is a short screening questionnaire. It takes only a few minutes, your answers stay private with the research organization, and it will let you know whether you qualify.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a natural way to shrink fibroids?

There is no natural approach that has been clinically proven to shrink fibroids, and anyone promising otherwise is getting ahead of the evidence. Studying natural, herbal approaches properly, so women finally have real answers, is exactly why Elix is funding this research.

Who runs Elix’s fibroids clinical study?

An independent, third-party research organization runs everything: the screening, the study itself, and the analysis. Elix sponsors the study and provides the formulas and does not influence the results.

Is it really free?

Yes. If you are selected, you receive the full Cycle Balance and Daily Harmony protocol free for six months (a $516 value) plus additional compensation. There is no purchase involved, in fact, you get money for your time.

How do I join?

Start with the short screener run by the research organization. If you qualify, they will walk you through the next steps.
